Childhood Memory series

Biography

Nadine Bearson (b. 1984, United Kingdom) is a British-American painter based in Madison, WI. She pursued a career in digital graphic design in both the UK and US before practicing art full-time.Primarily self-taught, she has also studied drawing and painting under Madison artist Jesse Mangerson.Her work has been exhibited in Wisconsin.

Artist Statement

"My work is a means of processing burnout and an ADHD diagnosis in my late 30s. I examine the emotional consequences of growing up undiagnosed and untreated: exploring anxiety, shame, and disconnected self-identity through images of my past and present self."
